    Traffic light northbound on Boston ave: sensor is not triggered by bicycles and the light is not automatic. If I get a red and there are no cars with me at the intersection it won’t give me a green and I have to run a red light to get through. Please fix!

    locust and freedom way traffic light on the boom is twisted / facing wrong direction
  • Riverside Ave & Park St Medford, Massachusetts, 02155 - Medford
    This intersection poses an incredible risk to anyone driving on it. If you drive on Park St. towards Riverside Ave. and attempt to make a left, there is about 10 feet of visibility to the left. The lights are set to flashing yellow for Riverside and flashing red for Park. So essentially, you are having people making a left, stop and make the turn when able. That said, everyone blows the speed limit and with 10 feet of visibility, there’s no way to see someone coming. Add to the fact that half of people don’t turn their lights on during dusk (aka commuting hours), this is a great danger to public safety. There is a lot of traffic that goes through park st to turn onto Riverside. I bet there are so many accidents on this road, all because for some reason we added flashing lights as opposed to traditional traffic lights.

    The induction coil that triggers the light for traffic leaving the High School does not detect bikes. That means if you leave the high school on a bike and wish to turn left onto Winthrop St, you can't do it until a car comes up behind you.

    Intersection of Main Street and George Street continues to be very unsafe for pedestrians to cross, especially late at night. There are now three bus routes and three bus stops at this intersection and detoured traffic making it very unsafe. Something needs to be done to make it safer for pedestrians. The flashing red and orange lights are useless and only assist cars, not pedestrians.

    The crosswalk at the intersection of Main St. and Hancock Ave is completely faded, making drivers unaware they are supposed to stop for pedestrians here.

    9th st desperately needs "DO NOT ENTER" signs [except for residents] on BOTH ENDS - one on intersection with Brainard ave, the other one where the white fence is behind Kappy's liquor store. All deliveries and commercial activity will remain accessible via Brainard ave, Rt 16, Middlesex ave and short part of 9th st without allowing non-residents on most of 9th st which IS A PRIVATE STREET BY THE CITY OF MEDFORD

    Is this section of Riverside Ave, leading to and from the Fellsway, a two or four lane road. Many drivers treat this section of road as though it has four lanes - two in each direction. But it is not marked as such. Is this section of road one lane or two lanes in each direction?
