    Despite paying taxes for street front property for 70 years, the city ceased maintaining Thacher Street about 15 feet north of my property line about 60 years ago. Many years ago I went to see about some repair. I was literally laughed at and shown the door. Now the street no longer meets planning board requirements for a public way. As my entire frontage is on the deteriorated section the property is essentially landlocked and unbuildable.
