    There’s conflicting parking signage on this block of Athenaeum Street. Cardboard signs on the meters say no parking 7 am - 4 pm for traffic clearance, but nonstandard signs on poles say no parking any time.

    Which is correct? Is parking allowed after 4 pm? Did a contractor put up the nonstandard signs without permission?

    We have four empty tree wells on Broadway between Antrim and Fayette.
    Please plant as many canopy trees as will fit in these tree wells, and please chose native trees so we can also support biodiversity. Native trees feed our local insects - which means there is also more food for birds. Native trees please!

    A large Norway maple just got taken down on Dudley Street, between Jackson and Clifton. I'd like to put in a request for a specific tree to be planted. The garden adjacent has recently been planted to be nearly 100% native, to support local pollinators, birds, and the overall ecosystem. In support of that aim, I'd like to request a Nyssa sylvatica (Black tupelo) for that site. If not a good choice for the site as determined by the forestry team, I'd like to request that only native trees be considered and to avoid oak (for allergy reasons). Thank you!

    This may not be the right category.. I have tried sending an email to Cambridge trees. This poor tree was pulled up, then replanted.
    Unfortunately, it is crooked and dying . The other new trees in this area of Russellfield seem to be doing OK

    Our street tree died this past spring and the city has now removed the tree (and stump, I believe). Would it be possible to have a new tree planted this spring? I would be interested in learning what varieties are available. Thank you!

    Writing to inquire about the possibility of a tree being planted near the corner of Corporal Burns Road and Field Street. There appears to be ample room to plant a tree at the corner and keep the sidewalk ADA compliant without creating a visual obstruction that would affect pedestrians or motorists. Power lines are also on the opposite side of the street.
