Overgrown bushes covering sidewalk

7 King Place, Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02139.

At the western most back corner of Paine Park is a large tree with four trunks that is hanging dangerously over the dwelling at 7 King Place and the address next to it. It is damaging the fence that separates the address from Pain park as well.

I have been informed by my insurance company that because of this tree and the threat it presents they will be cancelling my insurance policy on 8/27/2025.

I'm 99% sure that tree is on city property and therefore want to take the appropriate action of contacting you to inquire about the possibility of having that tree pruned back so that I can satisfy the requests of my insurance company and don't risk being un-insured.

tree is hanging somehow it is rubbing against cars that try to park in this spot. Please cut back the tree.

2 large dead branches are hanging over the sidewalk in front of our house.

City tree branches are encroaching onto roof and chimney of my home causing risk of damage to my home and squirrels to enter my home through the chimney. Requesting that these branches hanging over onto my home and yard be removed. Thank you, Fran Mastroianni, Owner 16 Wright Street

Please prune tree away from house and nearby wires

HI there -- I live at 81 Sherman St. There are 2 lovely trees that the city planted some years ago on the sidewalk. The branches of both trees are hanging well below 7 feet so that people who walk by have their heads hit the tree. B/c this is between St. Peter and Danehy Park, it's particularly tricky b/c there is a lot of pedestrian traffic people on bikes and scouters on the sidewalk. So it needs to get trimmed. In addition, there are a few dead branches in the trees and they can use a general "re-shaping." The "shaping" is less important than raising the level from a safety perspective. Someone came out to do both of these about 3 years ago but it's needed again. Thank you.

Resident reports tree is 1/2 dried out and mostly dead. Branches are falling off. One fell onto their vehicle today. Not safe to park or walk under.

The magnificent elm on the corner of Foster and Brown has one huge (10" diameter), very dead limb overhanging the street. It poses a safety hazard both to pedestrians and to cars parked beneath it. Can this be removed? Thank you.

One of the branches reaches far away from the tree and exhibits some ailing parts. If it were to fall it will land right on top of my car in the driveway and take down a lot of wires from the pole.
