    There is little to no bike parking on Harvard St. We have many friends visiting by bike and there is so place to park one’s bike near our home. This would be a great spot for a bike rack

    There is very little bike parking in this vicinity. Many people who bike are forced to use sign posts and fences and inadvertently block passage for vulnerable sidewalk users (people in wheelchairs, mobility devices, etc.). Around trash days the situation gets pretty bad with so many obstacles on the sidewalk, especially down Hancock Street.

    I bike to Formaggio and clearly a lot of other people do as well. We are locking our bikes on street sign poles. How about adding some bike racks on that block.

    Target is one of the busiest destinations in Central Square, and people have been submitting tickets for more bike racks since 2019. There are just 3 posts here, and the rack isn’t attached to the ground. There used to be a rack near the corner on the other side of the mailboxes.

    The city has a trying to encourage biking, and adding racks is a great way to do it.

    Could you provide an update besides the form response “We will evaluate this location, let you know of our findings…”? I’d like to know the findings.

    There are not enough bike racks here. I went to Lulu’s to get a haircut for my son, and the only bike rack on this block was taken by two bikes. While 100% of the bike parking was occupied, only ONE of the on-street parking spots was occupied. This section of mass ave needs more than one bike rack every block.
