I would like to have the tree pruned back at 74 Hammond st, Cambridge. It's almost touching the front porch. Thanks

This branch just fell out of the pictured tree located in Cooper Park and overhanging the play area. Luckily no kids were under when it fell completely without warning with no rain or wind. We just heard a loud splintering sound and a crash. This tree is very close to the new construction on Hancock which likely caused damage to the root system when the new foundation was dug (a consequence of allowing development so close to the lot line). This tree needs to be urgently evaluated and either pruned or removed. Looking closely there are a lot of small dead branches, and the leaves on many branches look small and shriveled and unhealthy. The trunk is also leaning significantly but it’s hard to know if the leaning is new. Somebody is likely to be severely injured if another branch falls here.

This area around this tree on the sidewalk often has debris and litter Right now the wooden area around it has fallen apart, making it dangerous for pedestrians walking by as a tripping hazard

This tree looks like it is dangerously hanging over the powerlines

    1. BOTANICAL OBSTRUCTION AND 2. DAMAGED PERVIOUS SIDEWALK SECTION ACROSS THE STREET (WaldenSStreet " near 1. 280 Walden St and 2. 277 Walden S:: ) Publicly owned shade tree branch in sidewalk / city ROW near 278/280 Walden St (3 telecom lines servicing 281 Walden Street) has rapidly grown this wet spring and is again entangled in the lines and could during windstorm cause the lines to drop into the street (this has happened before). We depend on internet to work from home. Tree is on the even side of crook of elbow on Walden Street between Garden Street and Sherman St (very narrow street and narrow sidewalk especially narrow at tree wells). . ..Alsdirectly across the street, o on the odd si of Walden Streetde, the previous sidewalk arounder tree well has come apart, and there are holes where pavement delaminated and someone could trip and fall.

Matt Deveaux (home inspector MA LIC # 1002) from Pillar to Post Waltham told us the Sycamore tree (photo attached) is too close to our houses and a few big branches need to be trimmed. Thanks very much!

this tree has been a problem for years, it drops branches all the time and is overgrown.
it overhangs my property and the neighbors .
neighbors have complained about it .
it is a tree that should have been put in a field.
it drops crap all year round and in the fall it has grape like things that the birds go nuts for. you can't even park your car under it because of the bird crap.

please can it be trimmed down alot.

    thanks Ron

Harding St & Porter St Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02141 - Wellington-Harrington
There's a "No Parking" sign on the corner of Porter St and Harding St, because the trash and recycling trucks turn right off of Porter onto Harding and need that space to make the turn. However, the foliage from the tree on that corner blocks the No Parking sign and a lot of people end up parking there. When that happens (like it did this morning) the trash truck ends up having to do like a ten point turn to make it. It would be helpful if something could be done to make that "No Parking" signage more visible or to ticket people before the trucks get there. Thanks!
