I’m not sure if this is for SC fix, but we just got notice yesterday they are tearing up the entire street and neighborhood to put new electrical piping underground. Could this be the time, since all wires are underground anyways, to also remove all the polls and put the wires underground like the city has for Kendall Square? It seems more important to put the wires underground where there are families than just the businesses. Is that possible? Thank you for considering.

This scaffolding has been here for so long, over a year, and there is no construction going on for that time. I work at this business and it is negatively affecting us. We have attempted to get our landlord to remove it and nothing has happened. Can you help us?

Does anyone know what the 2023 redevelopment plans are for the historic Union Railway Car Barn at 613 to 621 Cambridge St.? I have not been able to find any information about it anywhere.
The fence surrounding the lot takes up the sidewalk forcing pedestrians into Cambridge St. and its bike lane and obstructs line of sight of oncoming traffic for cars turning onto Cambridge St. from Lambert St.

Bricks sticking out of the sidewalk. The sidewalk is depressed around a gas valve. Ever source refused to fix and said this is a city issue.

Few days ago, a lady in her late sixties tripped over the bricks. Thanks god it was not much than a bruise. This must be fixed urgently. Elderly neighbors and strollers are at higher risk of tripping.

    Dear Madam/Sir.

The winter has ravaged the sidewalk outside our house and more generally as well. To the point where it is a trip hazard. What can be done to fix it?

This is the space where a city tree was removed. The space is too small to replace a tree. We would like to have a tulip tree planted in the space on the other side of the sidewalk.
I took a picture of the space where a new tree could go but the “add photo” option on this site only allows only one picture. That space is the same width as the old tree well but the length can be expanded to create much more square feet to accommodate the tree. After. Doing some research my neighbors and I have selected a tulip tree from the forestry department list.

Concrete spalling around the improved disability ramps installed a couple years ago. This wraps around the Southwest corner at the Harvey and Reed St intersection.

Handicap curb cut is terrible. The grade of the incline does not meet Americans With Disabilities Act Law standards. It like it has been repaired and re-patched many times and should be replaced entirely please
  • 27-51 Moulton St Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Cambridge
entire sidewalk from 25 moulton to 61 moulton has countless cracks, breaks, pieces missing which creates a hazardous walking environment. We own the buildings at Fresh Pond Research Park, and our tenants have complained about the safety of the sidewalks. We've complained before and was told it was low priority. This is a safety issue.
