This car was driving on the bike path last week He was smiling as he refused to stop and it seems likely that he was intentionally using the path as a shortcut Can the driver be ticketed I can share the video Also, barriers are needed at the entrances to prevent this ?,

Although the police have also witnessed the idling of buses that were legally inappropriate in the area I previously reported as a problem, there has been no improvement and I feel as if I live in a bus terminal. As a solution, it may be appropriate to inform the people who plan to live in this area and declare this area as "bus terminal area" and present it to their preferences.

The bike lane is blocked by a constant stream of vehicles parking to go to starbucks every morning. It is a dangerous enough intersection to navigate on a bike without being forced into the vehicle lane as you are going through the intersection. A little enforcement/deterrence on a weekday morning from 7-9am would go a long way.

Whole Foods consistently has deliveries during rush hour, which wouldn’t matter if they didn’t have the trucks back in and hold up rush hour traffic. They also have staff directing traffic, which is dangerous.
  • John F Kennedy St Cambridge 02138, United States - Mid-Cambridge
Can you check these signals? Drivers are not stopping for the crosswalk anymore.
  • Emmons Pl & Roberts Rd Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Mid-Cambridge
Roberts rd and Kirkland st have no overnight commercial truck restrictions. So how are these BIG, LOUD and NOISY violators getting through night after night after night. More signs perhaps? More police patrols actually stopping them perhaps?

Can the city better enforce cars stopping in the bike lane lane (also directly under very clear "no stopping anytime" signs) outside the Starbucks on First St. I bike this road and turn right onto First St. from Cambridge St. every morning and there hasn't been a single day in the past month that there hasn't been at least one car idling in the bike lane to run into Starbucks to grab coffee. It's increasingly dangerous for them to do this with all the roadwork currently going on around Lechmere.

Please ask CPD to enforce the no turn on red from Fayerweather onto Brattle It was totally ignored this morning
  • Brookford St & Massachusetts Ave Cambridge, MA, 02140, USA - North Cambridge
Somebody needs to enforce the bus lanes on Mass Ave in the morning. I'm tired of swerving into oncoming traffic in the lane to stop them from cutting the line, I'm scared I'll get in an accident soon.

Could we please have some additional traffic enforcement on Cambridge Street and Willow Street near King Open? Cars are flying down both streets (when traffic is clear) and driving dangerously to get around traffic. They are also parking in and across the crosswalks at Palermo Street blocking access to the school from Palermo and sometimes pulling over and blocking Palermo street itself. Given that at least one kid was struck in the crosswalk on Willow last year, we really need some assistance calming traffic and keeping our kids safe.
  • Massachusetts Ave & Walden St Cambridge, MA, 02140, USA - North Cambridge
We commute through this intersection everyday and have witnessed multiple instances of people running red lights and nearly hitting pedestrians during the morning commute (~7:45-8:15a). In two of these instances, we have seen the same person with two children nearly struck by vehicles going through the intersection during the walk signal. We’d love to see a police officer stationed here or a crossing guard implemented as these crosswalks are heavily traveled by parents with children at this busy time of day.
  • Concord Ave & Wheeler St Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Cambridge
West-bound drivers turning right from Wheeler and, or exiting the rotary, both probably with tunnel vision for cars/ high attentional processing for cars are sometimes crossing the double yellow lines to avoid the barriers, dithering pedestrian waiting for the single-file sidewalk constriction, and darting bikes.
