  • 295 Concord Ave Cambridge 02138, United States - Neighborhood 9

One pedestrian crossing continually skips light cycles, one side works the other doesn’t.
  • 27 Trowbridge St Cambridge 02138, United States - Mid-Cambridge
The location of the pedestrian light button is difficult to access for those with mobility devices, and this is not an intersection where the light comes on automatically. Could the light be changed so pedestrians get a light at the same time as the Trowbridge green so cars will yield to pedestrians crossing without needing to push the button? Also, the position and size of the large black box obstructs visibility making it hard for cars to see pedestrians. Can this be replaced or relocated?

Bus stop erroneously says no bus service; has done so for the past couple weeks at least. Bus stop at putnam and western.
  • 209 Rindge Ave Cambridge, MA 02140, USA - North Cambridge
Concrete base under pole is irregular shape and sticks out onto sidewalk and is hard to see, creating a hazard for pedestrians. Please spray with pink or orange so this can be seen easily. I did trip on it once when I was approaching to press the button for the pedestrian walk signal and slid into the gutter. Now I know it us there and know to avoid it but not everyone does.
  • Putnam Ave Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02139 - Riverside
This morning I noticed that one of the walk/don't walk signs on Putnam Avenue at the intersection of Putnam and Western Avenue isn't functioning. If you are walking down Western Avenue toward Memorial Drive and the Charles River on the side of Western Avenue closest to River Street, the walk/don't walk sign at the Putnam Ave. intersection doesn't display at all. The signals on the other three corners of the intersection seem to be working.

  • Mt Auburn St Opp Homer Ave Massachusetts 02138, USA - West Cambridge
the overhead traffic signal at Homer Ave is asked.
  • 1600 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Neighborhood 9
I realize that now Cambridge officials are making the recordings for the "safe to walk" announcements for pedestrians crossing streets, to make them more "personal." But the voice recording at the corner of Chauncy and Mass Ave is now almost inaudible. This is a noisy intersection. Could you please either up the volume, or restore the former "computer voice" recording, which was really clear.
