    I have raised this issue multiple times over the years - that of speeding cars on Maple Ave, from Cambridge St to Broadway, and the need for a traffic-calming raised intersection to deter speeding cars at the intersection of Maple Ave and Marie Ave - where the Duffett Tot Lot is.

    After much effort it was finally confirmed by the city in 2022 that this would be done in 2023. 2023 has come and gone, and this project has not even started.

    What is going on? When are you going to take this vital, life-saving step to protect the residents, families, young children, and pets on Maple Ave?

    156 Rindge Ave Cambridge, MA 02140, USA - North Cambridge
    This intersection is incredibly dangerous for pedestrians crossing Cedar Street at evening rush hour when traffic is heavy. Cars turning left onto Cedar Street from Rindge or onto Rindge from Cedar already have to contend with drivers on Rindge who do not yield, and visibility is not great, leading to scary conditions for anyone trying to cross the street. I have seen and directly experienced multiple close calls with cars nearly hitting pedestrians in the crosswalk. Can someone from the city please come observe this intersection at the evening rush hour and see how bad it is and figure out how to make this intersection safer? I am afraid to cross here with my kids on our way home.

    13–19 Hampshire St Cambridge MA 02139, United States - The Port
    Cambridge traffic parking officer refusing to ticket large trucks illegally parked in the bicycle lane. The officer said "I will when all you cyclists stop at red lights". This is highly inappropriate and combative for someone who represents the city and it means to enforce parking regulations. The officer was wearing a Cambridge parking traffic uniform/coat, she was approx 5'3, in her 50s. Definitely not the sort of person we want "enforcing" the law or city.

    In the 30 seconds I was in the vicinity of this illegal parking 2 separate COD patrol cars passed. No enforcement whatsoever. What’s going on?

    I was stopped at a red light on the left lane of the inbound Mass Ave at Cedar Street intersection around 6:25 PM when it was dark already. The right turn signal was also red. A car stopped briefly on the right turn lane and then sped through the red right turn signal straight down Mass Ave. Then the car behind it also made a brief stop and made a right turn, with right turn signal still red.
    These two cars could have caused serious accidents with pedestrians and/or bikers,
    Please install some kind traffic law enforcement measures at this intersection.

    There should be a police detail at Acme Ice during busy times There are parked Mac trucks and multiple forklifts on Kirkland St at an already extremely busy intersection A pedestrian almost got hit while in the crosswalk at Kirkland and Line Street Way too dangerous

    Employees of the Dominos Pizza on Mass Ave always park in the bike lane to pick up Pizzas for delivery. The park there for extended time while they wait for the Pizzas to be ready and multiple employees do this. This is just before a busy intersection and as a cyclist you have to merge into traffic. At the same time they open their car doors without checking for bikes. There is their parking lot 20 feet away that is part of the building where Dominos is. Why can't they use that instead of blocking the bike lane? Can we get some enforcement here as this is dangerous and really very easy for them to fix by using their own parking lot a few feet away?

    There is a tow zone violation every single day - and cars are never removed or even ticketed . An emergency vehicle cannot make the turn when cars are in the tow zone . Originally there was one sign , not three . No one pays attention to the arrows or the tow zone sign only the permit parking . There is a permit parking sign on the next pole a few feet away . It’s unnecessary and assuming people will read three signs . They see what they want to see - please adjust . When there’s an emergency, things coukd go very wrong !
