    Whole Foods consistently has deliveries during rush hour, which wouldn’t matter if they didn’t have the trucks back in and hold up rush hour traffic. They also have staff directing traffic, which is dangerous.

    Hello,

    We live on Hillside Avenue and it seems like cars are increasingly using Washington Avenue as a Main Street to cut between Linnean and Upload in great frequency which is fine BUT a lot of these cars are speeding well over 25-30 MPH. I've personally had issues simply turning onto this street on my way to dropping my daughter off at school and cars come out of nowhere it seems. Is it possible to either get one of those Digital Speed signs up for the start of the school year or to patrol that area once in awhile to help drivers understand it is not Mass Ave AND the speed limit on streets is 20MPH and not 30MPH.

    Please have traffic police at this intersection a bike nearly biked into a man in a wheelchair a few days ago. The biker Did Not stop at the red light. It's getting ridiculous at this intersection.

    Can the city better enforce cars stopping in the bike lane lane (also directly under very clear "no stopping anytime" signs) outside the Starbucks on First St. I bike this road and turn right onto First St. from Cambridge St. every morning and there hasn't been a single day in the past month that there hasn't been at least one car idling in the bike lane to run into Starbucks to grab coffee. It's increasingly dangerous for them to do this with all the roadwork currently going on around Lechmere.

    The traffic pattern at the intersection of Waverly and Brookline requires stricter enforcement. Cars taking left turns from Waverly towards the rotary block the intersection throughout rush hour every day. This restricts the right of way for cars turning both left and right off Granite Street, as the intersection remains gridlocked for their entire green light cycles. Further, this exacerbates the backup on both Granite and Pearl Streets.

    Yesterday, at two different times (morning and afternoon rush hour), I was almost hit by cars running the red light at this intersection (heading to Memorial Drive). I was within the sidewalk and had a walk signal. I was about a third of the way across the street when I was almost hit or even nudged by the cars. The cars also often block the box,, forcing me to weave among them. In addition, bicycles also ignore traffic signals, especially at 77 Massachusetts Avenue.

    I am in a wheelchair, but I am visible. I know that Massachusetts provides for up to 10 years in jail if a car hits a wheelchair, but that does me no good if I'm dead because I'm hit by a car.

    Can you install some traffic calming devices at these intersections? Maybe speed bumps, since they don't seem to obey the traffic lights?

    From Bay and Green St. to Putnam, cars sometimes reach 35+ MPH in a very short distance. When is our city going to take action to help the residents here and enforce the traffic laws? Talking to neighbors I hear of cats, rabbits and squirrels dead...what's next, a child?
    The street has become a shortcut to the Turnpike and a way to avoid Harvard Sq. I have posted many times before with no action from the powers that be?
    PLEASE HELP US!

    West-bound drivers turning right from Wheeler and, or exiting the rotary, both probably with tunnel vision for cars/ high attentional processing for cars are sometimes crossing the double yellow lines to avoid the barriers, dithering pedestrian waiting for the single-file sidewalk constriction, and darting bikes.
