Washington Avenue SpeedingReconhecidaWashington Ave Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02140 - Neighborhood 9
Hello,
We live on Hillside Avenue and it seems like cars are increasingly using Washington Avenue as a Main Street to cut between Linnean and Upload in great frequency which is fine BUT a lot of these cars are speeding well over 25-30 MPH. I've personally had issues simply turning onto this street on my way to dropping my daughter off at school and cars come out of nowhere it seems. Is it possible to either get one of those Digital Speed signs up for the start of the school year or to patrol that area once in awhile to help drivers understand it is not Mass Ave AND the speed limit on streets is 20MPH and not 30MPH.

Traffic Sign ComplaintReconhecida618 Massachusetts Ave Cambridge, MA 02139, USA - CambridgeportPeople constantly park in this “No Stopping” area even when the taxi stand/loading zone on the north side of the street is fully open. I don't think everyone *wants* to park illegally; they might just see there isn't much space on the south side that isn't the bus stop. Could we possibly get a sign along with the “No Stopping” sign that says something like “Loading zone other side of street” or something? Thank you!

Traffic Sign ComplaintReconhecidaEmmons Pl & Roberts Rd Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Mid-CambridgeRoberts rd and Kirkland st have no overnight commercial truck restrictions. So how are these BIG, LOUD and NOISY violators getting through night after night after night. More signs perhaps? More police patrols actually stopping them perhaps?

Construction ComplaintReconhecida415 Putnam Ave Cambridge 02139, United States - Cambridgeport
Can the city help prevent the huge construction trucks from going down Putnam constantly? This is including the company “Hospitality Services” trucks, huge soda delivery trucks, etc the list goes on. It’s a no truck street and yet they wake everyone up at 6am. They also shake the street they weigh so much.
Is there any way the city can make the trucks take the wider streets like Mem Drive, Sydney? Maybe it’s improved signs? Make Putnam a one way street in sections? It’s gotten out of control. Thank you.

Brookline St & Waverly St Cambridge, MA, 02139, USA - CambridgeportThe traffic pattern at the intersection of Waverly and Brookline requires stricter enforcement. Cars taking left turns from Waverly towards the rotary block the intersection throughout rush hour every day. This restricts the right of way for cars turning both left and right off Granite Street, as the intersection remains gridlocked for their entire green light cycles. Further, this exacerbates the backup on both Granite and Pearl Streets.

Bike Lane ObstructionReconhecida11 First Street Cambridge, MA, 02141, USA - East CambridgeCan the city better enforce cars stopping in the bike lane lane (also directly under very clear "no stopping anytime" signs) outside the Starbucks on First St. I bike this road and turn right onto First St. from Cambridge St. every morning and there hasn't been a single day in the past month that there hasn't been at least one car idling in the bike lane to run into Starbucks to grab coffee. It's increasingly dangerous for them to do this with all the roadwork currently going on around Lechmere.

OtherReconhecida115 Prospect St Cambridge 02139, United States - Mid-CambridgeWhole Foods consistently has deliveries during rush hour, which wouldn’t matter if they didn’t have the trucks back in and hold up rush hour traffic. They also have staff directing traffic, which is dangerous.
