  • Harvey St & Massachusetts Ave Cambridge, MA, 02140, USA - North Cambridge

Right turn off of Mass. Ave. conflicts with Walk and Bike signals. This is a high-conflict area between pedestrians & cyclists and cars.

Could a "yield to bikes and pedestrians" sign be added on the far side of this intersection (heading NW on Mass. Ave., for cars turning right onto Cameron)?

Even better would be a flashing yellow right turn arrow, like at Mass. Ave. and Beech.

  • Cambridge St & East St Cambridge, MA, 02141, USA - East Cambridge
The two outside traffic flows change to a Walk sign while the middle remains Don’t Walk, meaning pedestrians get stranded after crossing each third of the street and must wait another two cycles to get all the way across. Many pedestrians are crossing against the light to avoid waiting longer.
  • Upland Rd Cambridge 02140, United States - Agassiz-Harvard
Half of the pedestrian light is blocked by this pole. Extremely difficult to see the countdown clock while crossing Mass Ave until you clear the pole walking. Please look into it. Someone could get seriously hurt.
  • 1925a Massachusetts Ave Cambridge, MA 02140, USA - North Cambridge
Pedestrian crossing button on odd # side (1925 mass ave) not working. Previous entry ignored, so decided to enter as a car-related concern because those are always addressed promptly for some reason. Please FIX instead of assigning to an absentee department. Cars are constantly speeding through almost hitting pedestrians, even within view of police who do nothing.
  • 75-79 New St Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Neighborhood 9

Crossing signs for pedestrians are not respected. Cars go by very fast on New street and cause safety concerns mostly for children, elderly, and handicapped.

Most cars do not stop at the crossing signs even when pedestrians are engaged on one side of the street.

  • Clinton St & Massachusetts Ave Cambridge, MA, 02139, USA - Mid-Cambridge
Need traffic calming, lights, or a raised crosswalk here. Traffic doesn't stop for pedestrians.
  • Ames St & Broadway Cambridge, MA, 02142, USA - East Cambridge
There should be a delay ahead of the walk/bike signal to cross Broadway on the south/east side of the intersection. South/eastbound cars frequently take the yellow (and red), and due to the size of the intersection, are still in the intersection when the walk/bike signals turn green. This is particularly dangerous for bikes coming out of the Loughney walkway who may arrive at the intersection as their light turns green and proceed into it without realizing some car took the yellow/red and is still going through. If there is no enforcement of light infractions, there should be a delay on the walk/bike signal.
  • 31 Belmont St Cambridge 02138 United States - Cambridge
The new pedestrian crossing signal the city installed at this crosswalk appears to be broken and has been for over a week. On one side of the street it blinks constantly. Drivers are ignoring the blinking amber light because of this, assuming there is no pedestrian, and failing to slow down or stop. A pedestrian was hit by a car crossing the street here last night. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do something to make Belmont Street safe to cross. Fix the lights and put in real safety measures to make this area safer for pedestrians.
  • 201 Third St Cambridge MA 02141, United States - East Cambridge
The pedestrian walk signal for this intersection does not come on automatically, unlike all the other intersections in this neighborhood Pressing the beg button doesn't immediately provide the walk signal either, often delaying it an entire light cycle This encourages jaywalking This signal should be updated to give the walk signal in the parallel direction of the green traffic light instead ofa manual request
  • Massachusetts Ave Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Neighborhood 9
The pedestrian/bike signal just turns from walk sign to blank, not allowing pedestrians to know if cars are about to come. For pedestrians/bikers going north bound, this is the sign on the island next to the "STOP HERE ON RED" in the bike lane. This is super dangerous and I almost got hit by a car when walking across here.

  • 1501 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Neighborhood 9
The traffic light on right near side - the green light does not work. The red and yellow are fine, but the green is out.
