The tree in front of our home is not in good shape. I have repeatedly requested the tree be pruned and better taken care of over many years. As you can see from the attached photos there are branches and other debris from the tree all Over our sidewalk in our yard, on the street and it is destroying our porches. We just recently had the lower porch taken care of and are now in the process of cleaning up, replacing the porch rails and cleaning the gutters as a result of this tree. I would love to have the tree removed and replaced with another tree but at the least it needs to be cut back significantly asap. And one other thing, when there is a strong wind, the tree creaks. I live at 593-5 Putnam Ave, adjacent to the children's park. A tree from the park has grown significantly and its branches are now encroaching onto my balcony. This has led to squirrels and insects, including ants, entering my home. It’s becoming a nuisance and a potential health concern.

I kindly request that the tree be inspected and pruned to prevent further intrusion.

This tree sheds branches every winter. This time it looks like one of the branches could fall on utility connections into 204 Banks. There are more dead branches on this tree that look like they'll come down this winter.

HI there -- I live at 81 Sherman St. There are 2 lovely trees that the city planted some years ago on the sidewalk. The branches of both trees are hanging well below 7 feet so that people who walk by have their heads hit the tree. B/c this is between St. Peter and Danehy Park, it's particularly tricky b/c there is a lot of pedestrian traffic people on bikes and scouters on the sidewalk. So it needs to get trimmed. In addition, there are a few dead branches in the trees and they can use a general "re-shaping." The "shaping" is less important than raising the level from a safety perspective. Someone came out to do both of these about 3 years ago but it's needed again. Thank you.

7 King Place, Cambridge, Massachusetts, 02139.

At the western most back corner of Paine Park is a large tree with four trunks that is hanging dangerously over the dwelling at 7 King Place and the address next to it. It is damaging the fence that separates the address from Pain park as well.

I have been informed by my insurance company that because of this tree and the threat it presents they will be cancelling my insurance policy on 8/27/2025.

I'm 99% sure that tree is on city property and therefore want to take the appropriate action of contacting you to inquire about the possibility of having that tree pruned back so that I can satisfy the requests of my insurance company and don't risk being un-insured.

City tree branches about 4' above sidewalk, trimming needed

Honey Locust in need of pruning. It reaches over more of our building and yard now than it has ever done. We worry about branches coming down in storms. We’d also like some more light in our front yard, which is now completely shaded.

There are city trees behind the Willis Moore Community Center with branches that are touching my house and shed. They need to be trimmed back because this is unsafe for my property. The tree is directly behind my house and a neighbors house and it needs to be trimmed ASAP since we technically cannot trim a city tree ourselves. Thanks!
