The traffic light adjacent to Highland AVE Street sign has a black cover/shield around the traffic lights. The black cover is not secured well, and it is making constant noise when there is wind. Can you send staff to check on it when the weather is a bit windy? The black cover is make "bang bang" noise with wind. If the black cover can be secured better, it will solve the noise issue. Thank you.
  • 1069-1085 Massachusetts Ave Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Mid-Cambridge

The traffic light at Mass Ave/Trowbridge gives a leading pedestrian interval for the crosswalk across Mass Ave on the west side of Trowbridge (in front of Compass Realty). This serves no purpose and is purely wasteful. No vehicles ever turn across this crosswalk, since the green light is only for vehicles heading straight onto Trowbridge, as vehicles turning from Putnam Ave to Mass Ave west would use the other roadway on the west side of the island (the straight continuation of Putnam).

Please consider removing this leading pedestrian interval.

  • 594 Green St Cambridge MA 02139, United States - Riverside
Traffic and Parking please do something about speeding cars on Green St between Bay and Putnam. Cars reach 35+ mph in a hundred feet after stopping at the stop sign at Bay St., that is if they even come to stop. Please come and see for yourself. And why so much heavy truck traffic?
  • 15 Lambert St Cambridge, MA 02141, USA - Somerville
When driving north on Gore, the traffic light at that intersection shows a red, yellow, and green light all at the same time (see photo.) It is a bit difficult to interpret what I am supposed to do when driving. Sometimes, for a change, it shows green, yellow, green, which is slightly less confusing but still not exactly clear.
  • 300-340 Windsor St Cambridge, MA, 02141, USA - Wellington-Harrington

Before Plymouth Street's green light, there's a leading pedestrian interval for the crosswalk across Windsor Street. This makes no sense and is wasteful, since vehicles with a green cannot turn across this crosswalk, as Windsor is one way into the intersection. There are no other walk lights during this phase.

Please remove the leading pedestrian interval.

  • Massachusetts Ave & Walden St Cambridge, MA, 02140, USA - North Cambridge
The intersection of mass ave and Walden St does not have the pedestrian walk signals that produce sound. Today a visually impaired person was having difficulty crossing without these indicators so they should be placed as soon as possible
  • 36 White St Cambridge, MA 02140, USA - North Cambridge
do not walk red hand facing the subway headhouse is partly burned up on the crosswalk signal
  • 88–98 Linnaean St Cambridge 02138, United States - Neighborhood 9
Please install an audible crossing signal at Linnaean and Garden and consider making it an all red for pets. There are too many seniors and students not obeying the ped signals here. It’s frustrating for everyone. Thank you.
  • Cambridge St @ Sixth St Cambridge, MA 02141, USA - East Cambridge
since the Gore Street project changed the signals at this corner, the walk signal now requires pedestrians to push the button. before it was an automatic part of the cycle which was much better. can it be restored to the previous pattern?
  • 333 Western Avenue Cambridge, MA, 02139, USA - Riverside
Pedestrian signs pulled off and walk button not working at corner of western and Putnam.
  • 921 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA, 02139, USA - Mid-Cambridge
The location of this pole makes it difficult for pedestrians with crutches or other accessibility devices to pass by. Impossible for wheelchair to fit through between pole and cement property boarder (holding plants and fence). Can this pole be moved closer to corner (where red markings are currently)?
  • 6th St & Hurley St Cambridge, MA, 02141, USA - East Cambridge
Can we please have a 3-way stop at the corner of 6th and Hurley? It's a busy intersection and directly across the street from a much-used playground. When traveling west on Hurley, cars on 6th, from either direction, are hard to see. Cars on 6th are not slowing down much, even though the crosswalk has been raised.
