The bike lane is overgrown and full of debris, tree branches stick out into cyclists faces
  • 75 New St Cambridge MA 02138, United States - Cambridge
If the City is to preserve the old B&M RR track right of way between New St. and Fresh Pond Parkway for future use as a rail trail (which would be a good thing to do, and is marked on the master plan as a goal), it should take action to keep this ROW clear and avoid adverse use by abutters in the form of parked vehicles and construction material storage, both of which are currently being done.
  • 71 Fulkerson St #113 Cambridge, MA 02141, USA - East Cambridge
The two way separated Bike lane segment here that runs between Charles St and Spring St along Fulkerson ends abruptly at Spring St & Fulkerson St. From this point on, for bikes traveling towards Cambridge St, they are counterflow to vehicular traffic on Fulkerson. Whereas Fulkerson st is very wide and experiences very low traffic, there should be a counterflow painted bike lane installed here to enable continuous travel from Binney St to Cambridge St.

Currently bikes are forced to either ride on the sidewalk, or to turn right and take a longer route when Fulkerson St lies empty most of the time.

The rainwater collects and completely obstructs the bike lane for quite a stretch. Since there are so many buses passing, it's especially dangerous to take the lane.

Was riding bike downhill from Longfellow Bridge, when the front tire suddenly dropped down - and I tumbled over and off the bike.
  • 850 Cambridge St Cambridge 02141, United States - Wellington-Harrington
Large puddle and sink in roadway causes bikes to jump out into traffic
  • 160 Norfolk St Cambridge, MA, 02139, USA - The Port
Senne is blocking the bike lane and sidewalk AGAIN.
  • 1682 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Neighborhood 9
The Jersey barrier protecting outdoor dining outside Giulia is cutting into the bike lane. While I agree it’s good to have outdoor diners protected- it should not be at the expense of the bike lane. There is plenty of room to pushe the barriers another foot closer to the sidewalk so it won’t obstruct the bike lane.
