    It's no wonder there is a rat problem at the interim Tobin School. Both playgrounds (Inman Street and Fayette Street) have overflowing garbage cans in the playground areas. The kids eat outside and their refuse is dumped into open cans that overflow. The neighborhood is experiencing a rat problem and this is one of the main causes. Please ask that the school collect lunch leftovers in a closed container.

    Rats feeding on trash under the cans in McMath and Bergin parks. Last night I rattled the can in Bergin Park by the sand box and 2 rats ran from under the trash can to under the little bridge.

    Riverside Press Park - Riverside

    Last night while walking my dog at Riverside Press Park I saw five-six rats at the park including baby rats. They hang out in under the garbage receptacles near the amphitheater. Can you please have the clean the bottom of these garbage receptacles around the park because they attract the rats and have all summer. Also this park need some rat bait -- I've never seen this many rats in at once at the park.

    2 medium sized rats spotted on a nightly walk at around 7:30 PM on Saturday December 3rd. One by blue bikes station and the other ran into the marshland opposite the alewife henhouse.
