    Riverview Hospital’s fence is broken between a neighborhood park (Joel Maxwell Park) and the hospital parking lot off Jefferson. Many stolen packages have been found there as the thieves are using this as an access point to Jefferson. Can you please ask the maintenance crew at the hospital to have the fence repaired ASAP?     Whoever tied some wire over the hole in the dog park fence left the segment unattached, so now it’s all one big flap for dogs to come and go through as they please. Please hire a qualified contractor to repair the fence.

    Dangerous tree in city owned extension (between road and side walk)

    We have inspected the large Silver Maple in the extension(right of way, city-owned) in front of the home at 5771 15th Street.  This tree is in decline, and has had large limbs fail already including on to the homeowner's vehicle.  There are also multiple different kinds of
    fungal fruiting bodies on the trunk and base of the tree, including Ganoderma, which indicate continued decomposition of the base of the tree.  This tree is very large and would cause considerable damage to
    the resident's home, or to the home directly across the street.  We recommend that the city of Detroit removes this tree as soon as possible to prevent injury, death or property damage.

    The tree (on the other side of the sidewalk) in front of our house is split all the way down the middle and has been getting worse for months. My mom contacted the city about removing it a couple of months ago and we’ve been put on a long waiting list.TThe tree is going to fall soon and probably will fall onto our hous. A member of our family is disabled and dealing with serious health issues. It would help us a lot if someone could relieve the stress of a potential tree falling on our house.
