Raleigh City Hall PLUS

This intersection needs pedestrian crossing, traffic signal, warning for drivers traveling toward this hotel and event center to warn fast drivers pedestrians may be crossing.

I have been here twice and cars approach intersection when I'm crossing speeding.

Can this crosswalk sign on eastbound Stanhope Ave be moved before the crosswalk and the crepe myrtle tree be trimmed so that the sign can be seen? Also, can the missing westbound Stanhope Ave crosswalk sign be replaced?

This is the 4th time I have posted the missing school speed/hours sign. Each time it is acknowledged but nothing happens. Driving from North Hills toward Glenwood, There is only one sign on the Root Elem. side of the street, and it's at the second driveway, right before the school zone ends!! The sign post is just past the trail crossover, but no sign. RPD recently posted that area with speed enforcement signs. Thursday morning some idiot in an suv passed me using the turn lane during the posted time. I was going
25 they didn't like it! when someone's child is killed there it on you guys. I have tried 4 times to get this taken care of.

Excessive speeding is occurring throughout the area of Halifax St, Cedar St, N. Blount St, Harp St, and Haynes St. (Capitol Park Community). There are no speed limit signs in the area and people are not conscious of excessive speeds in a community with a daycare center with many children and Halifax Park. Please consider installing speed limit signs and increasing RPD Patrol in the community.

The stop sign is not visible from north side where it should be. It's covered in vines and plants

There is a need for a stop sign to prevent traffic from the 99 coming out onto Olympia whiteout yielding or stopping to prevent accidents

The stop sign at Oakwood Ave and Idlewild is run 10 times a day from cars speeding along Oakwood. One time someone did a wheelie on a dirt bike through the stop sign. There is almost constant foot traffic at the intersection and there are no sidewalks. This is a disaster waiting to happen.

Vehicles routinely come speeding from Glenwood Avenue (both directions, and from the Glenwood Avenue service road in front of the Exxon station) onto Oberlin Rd. The speeding vehicles do not yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk. PLEASE add large (possibly flashing) signage that is unavoidably visible from that direction to alert vehicles about the state law and the need to yield to pedestrians in that Oberlin Rd crosswalk. The only time that pedestrians can cross Oberlin is when the stoplight on Oberlin is red, meaning that the light on Glenwood is green. That Glenwood green gives vehicles the idea that they can charge through the Oberlin crosswalk, so the YIELD. signage is needed to advise them otherwise. Please! Can the City please install a sign on Wake Towne Drive near the Extended Stay or Rushworth Drive that says "No Outlet"? Several times a week large semi-trucks (53' trailers) come barreling down Wake Towne (likely guests of one of the hotels) only to realize there isn't enough room for them to turn around at the dead end, so they then back up in reverse to the Extended Stay/one of the hotels on Wake Towne. If they could be alerted prior to Rushworth this might prevent them from having to backup as they could turn around using Rushworth or the Extended Stay driveway.
