Child Care Center at 53 rd St. fire alarm went off intermittently throughout the weekend (02/04-05 2023). This isn’t a new issue and happens often during the weekend. Fire Department and EPD were alerted about the problem and told they are not responsible for fixing the issue.

Not sure how to explain this...since Tuesday night, 12/5, there has been this loud, whooshing sound in the air. I believe it's coming from Novartis's huge air vents. Not sure if they are releasing air or sucking it in. Not sure if this is reportable or even who to address this to. This last occurred 4/23/17 and my last report is still "open."

Someone's living in this car.

on several occasions, the railroad crossing gates get stuck - and accompanying traffic lights frozen at the 65th/shellmound intersection. The light stays green in the north/southbound directions and the crossing guard gates are closed, but no train comes. This goes on for several minutes at a time, and many people go around the gates creating a serious public safety issue. Not sure if this is related to the work that the railroad has been doing at night, but whatever they are doing is not working.

lane markers are missing for vehicles turning WB from Powell St EB I80 exit onto Powell St.

Train horn blaring in the late nights and early mornings are incredibly maddening. The cost to live in this area should not subject residents to this unbelievable disturbance.
Establish other safety measures that do not require for the train horns to blare multiple times through the nights.

Could the city please get a crosswalk marked out on 59th street where the Greenway path behind the community garden ends and crosses over 59th st to continue on towards the Stanford Med building? It is a dangerous crossing with parked cars on both sides of the street blocking the view as you attempt to cross.

Someone used a metal sign post to bend the fence allowing entrance access to this park area from the railroad tracks.

both north and south sides of 59th St just east of Vallejo - sewer grates are the old style without crossbars and need to be replaced or retrofitted so that they are unable to swallow bicycle wheels - all sewer grates around Oakland were supposed to have been updated by now but I guess these were missed

City needs to remove their sign. Hasn't been used in over a year .

I complained over a week ago about a trash can that has not been emptied at the little sitting area across from the office that roasts coffee. It is still overloaded and disgusting. Why is the truck not emptying this trash can?
