Pinellas County - proper PLUS

There are two signs, one on the north and south side of the Orange St/Alt 19 pedestrian bridge on the Pinellas Trail. Please consider removing these project signs if the project is completed.

On the other side of this fence in the picture is the pinellas trail. Head and continue about 0.25-0.5 mile north/straight on this trail and you will see bumpy and rough trails. Please smooth the pinellas trail here. Thanks.

I am a 61-year-old woman who resides in Anchorage. I ride the Pinellas Trail at least once a week. There is a huge problem with motorists who come out of the neighborhoods that border the Pinellas Trail not stopping behind the limit line prior to turning right or left on to East Lake Road. Worse, if there is no traffic on East Lake Road, many of them don't even stop at all! Today, I was in the crosswalk at the Landsbrook neighborhood, riding in the crosswalk with a green light, and a woman in a small maroon SUV was so intent looking to the left at oncoming traffic so she could turn right without stopping (!) that she just about hit me! Actually, however, it's the intersections without lights that are the most dangerous. These motorists are so intent on making their turns that they are completing obvious to bikers/pedestrians/skateboarders etc. PLEASE do something: start ticketing these motorists? erect a sign reminding them to stop behind the limit line until they look both ways for pedestrians, install flashing lights on the crosswalks that can be lit when someone is crossing. This is a very dangerous situation. Please make using the Pinellas Trail safer.

On the south side of the bridge that crosses Bayshore (north of Curlew) there is an information sign that is left over from the bridge construction project Please consider removing the sign

The yellow transition markers on both sides of the trail are pealing up.

The joints on the overpass need attention. Very dangerous if you are on a bicycle. Very uneven. thank you.

7 bollards missing at entrances to the Skyway Trail between 8th Ave. S. And Twin Brooks Golf Course. Three are missing near Twin Brooks trailhead, two are missing at 16th Ave S trailheads, one at 14th Ave S. trailhead, and one at 8th Ave S. trailhead. In addition, frequently see bollards removed and lying on ground along main Pinellas Trail from 34th St. to 49th St. Not sure if this is the ditch grass mowers but whoever it is is leaving the bollards down and not putting them back up.

The Yellow ADA Mat is loose and sticks up. Comparing the one in my photo to the one on Google maps at a walkers point of view, it looks like the old one was replaced and a new one has been put down and come loose. I think a lot of them are loose in that area. This one doesn't seem to be glued down. The screws are sticking out of it too. Please have someone look at this mat and others in the area that have recently been replaced. It just seems like it's the new ones that are loose.
