    Dear FixIt Department,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to follow up on a previous request regarding a barrier obstructing access to the Pinellas Trail. As mentioned in my initial message, this trail is crucial for my daily mobility, and I rely on it 7-10 times per day to move around using my medical device.

Unfortunately, I have not yet received a response to my earlier request. Additionally, Central Avenue is currently occupied by construction vehicles and has flooded crosswalks, leaving me with no viable alternative routes. This situation makes it extremely challenging for me to navigate around these obstacles.

While I understand that increased foot traffic from recent baseball games may contribute to the issue, it is essential to ensure that access to the Pinellas Trail remains clear and unobstructed due to its significance for many individuals, including myself.

I kindly request that this matter be addressed as soon as possible, and I would greatly appreciate a timely response.

Thank you for your attention and assistance.

reported to St Pete.... they say its County... I see this was reported to the county back in December but nothing has been done. Y'all pointing fingers at each other is what makes the people feel like they don't matter. Somebody please go take care of this before someone trips over the mount and really hurts themselves. There's a definite non-zero chance of this as this is a very highly trafficked entry/exit of the trail.

This part of Pinellas Trail near the Walgreen on Roosevelt and MLK has had grass growing over the trail for a while. Also there is a water issue there that is not draining off the trail after it rains. Both have been a problem for a while. The photo snapshot is from yesterday. Can we please get someone to get that overgrown grass off the trail and get the other part behind it to drain the water off somehow please?

Cones blocking the bike lane and forcing bikes into a busy and unsafe roadway for no reason. I tried talking to the workers at the jobsite and was met with hostility.

In the mornings when I touch the button to turn on the crossing lights it beeps but does not turn the lights on. They did not work for me this am 11/3/23. But testing it now in the evening it worked. This is the button on the south east corner of the pinellas trail crossing 22 md Ave north.

The city of St Petersburg has indicated this is a Pinellas County issue vs a city issue. The Trail has significant debris from 2nd Street South to 5th Street This is a safety issue for riders and walkers Additionally, the bus stops and the bump out landscaping all along that trail area needs cleanup and mulching Thank you
