The woman that lives at this address is breeding and hoarding pit bulls and is known to have another location that more dogs are at.
Her dogs are not restrained well enough to keep them in the yard and one has jumped the fence and attacked the neighbors dog at 4806 and once went so far as to bust open her garage door and attack her little dog. It has now killed the cat.
Children in this neighborhood are at risk from this dog and someone is going to get mauled by these dogs.

There is an ongoing issue with dog excrement left along the walkways from dog walkers. Often on actual pavement. I live in Wheeler Bend (Turnbrook) and my property backs right up to Barren Fork Blvd, so I encounter this mess daily. I was told the city provides stations with bags and trash cans to encourage and facilitate better public hygiene. If so, we could definitely use one or two on either side of the street between Wheeler Bend and Wheeler Point. Thank you.

Owner has a black Labrador retriever that is not on a chain and chased me down, very nearly attacking me on a walk.

Owner accused me of instigating the attack, I was on my daily walk using my phone and did nothing to scare or provoke the attack.

There are 4-5 dogs. At least 3-4 are left outside at all times, no matter the weather or temperature and are constantly getting out of the backyard and running around the neighborhood. It is unsafe for the dogs mainly but also anyone walking the neighborhood. She has too many dogs & when one gets out & doesn't come back, she just gets another one. It's extremely sad for these animals. They just got out again today & were running around the neighborhood. I do not know where they went or even that she has noticed yet because her backyard is silent & they are usually barking constantly.

I saw two brownish tan dogs running in my neighborhood. My neighbor said they might live nextdoor. They were aggressive this morning. Please send someone they are going to get hit!

There is a large breed dog that is always tied up with nothing but a cable and maybe a stake in the ground. There is no fence stopping the dog from coming into contact with residence who are outside. I do not believe the cable is strong enough to prevent the dog from getting loose and charging someone seeing as to how as soon as it sees you it’s begins to jump roll and bark trying to get loose. I have a fear of checking my mailbox or just sitting on my porch. Sometimes the dog is outside all day while the owner is gone regardless of weather conditions as well.

My wife and I began complaining to Community Development regarding the debris (including old duct work, plywood, shower doors dead tree limbs, mounds of busted cement, old chairs and pots) in September, 2020 and again in December 2020 and I have spoken to them numerous times since then. My wife spoke with Randy Cunningham at Permitting in January, 2021 since the owner has had a permit for over three years. Mr. Cunningham said that the owner/contractor needed to get a dumpster to put the trash in and that he would send out the inspector to look at it and take pictures for him. Again, nothing ever happened. We called Skip, the City Inspector for this area in early March, 2021 told him about the debris and the piles of dirt, rock and broken cement. We also spoke to him about the mud run-off when it rains. He text us back and said that the owner planned to have it cleaned up in about 2 weeks. NOTHING ever happened. The owner occasionally has work done inside and on porch, but outside cleanup NEVER happens and no dumpster has ever been placed. There is no electricity on and no porta potty. It is beyond my and my neighbor's understanding how this owner/contractor does not have to follow the rules set by the City of Huntsville. We have had no help at all in any of our complaints. The owner works inside on occasion to keep his permit current and parks his works truck in front of debris to help hide it.
This hurts the values of the homes on Shades Crest Road and the neighborhood of Blossomwood. It is a shame that our City Inspectors and Community Development don't respond to the needs of the public.
