Animal IssueReconhecida4808 Blue Haven Dr Nw Huntsville, AL, 35810, USA - HuntsvilleThe woman that lives at this address is breeding and hoarding pit bulls and is known to have another location that more dogs are at.
Her dogs are not restrained well enough to keep them in the yard and one has jumped the fence and attacked the neighbors dog at 4806 and once went so far as to bust open her garage door and attack her little dog. It has now killed the cat.
Children in this neighborhood are at risk from this dog and someone is going to get mauled by these dogs. -
Animal IssueReconhecida7705 Oakridge Dr Se Huntsville, Alabama, 35802 - HuntsvilleThe electric fence is still not working. Their dog is in my yard daily. My son is afraid to play in the yard because there is always a large Doberman dog coming across the street into our yard. The dog has also almost been hit twice by a car this week.

Owner has a black Labrador retriever that is not on a chain and chased me down, very nearly attacking me on a walk.
Owner accused me of instigating the attack, I was on my daily walk using my phone and did nothing to scare or provoke the attack.

There are a couple of very aggressive dogs on an electric fence in the front yard that comes right up against a public sidewalk (maybe a foot) - so close that the dogs can almost bite people walking. Every time we walk by and the dogs are out, they bark aggressively and charge the fence. They looked like they were going to attack my 7 year old, and he ran away screaming. I believe these dogs are a nuisance and are not properly restrained.
My understanding is that this violates several ordinances, including allowing dogs to bark aggressively with passers-by, having dangerous dogs on an underground fence, and having a fence closer than 10 ft from a public sidewalk.
This section of sidewalk is virtually impassable as long as the dogs are out, and I fear that they would run through the electric fence and attack someone, such as a small child. Part of me fears even letting my kids play in the front yard - thinking that one of those dogs could run through the fence and get loose in the neighborhood.
I hope that the city does something about this.

Animal IssueReconhecidaHickory Hill Cir Se Huntsville, Alabama, 35802 - HuntsvilleThis record is to report an incident of unleashed dogs in a residential neighborhood. No attack took place and no one was injured. My husband, Christ Lee, was jogging this morning around 545 a.m. on Hickory Hill Circle SE and Hickory Hill Lane SE (residential area) in Huntsville, AL when two dogs, unleased and without an owner, but with collars on, came running out at him barking. One dog was a boxer (tan color) and the other was a medium sized dog with reddish fur. The boxer crossed the street and got closer to my husband who was on the sidewalk, while the other dog did not cross the street.
My husband turned on his flashlight on the boxer's face and also discharged his taser just to threaten the boxer and it took off running. The dogs owner is unknown and never appeared during the incident. If you need further information, please call (703) 475-6145. -
