This house is constantly violating the noise ordinance with their loud music and heavy bass. I understand that it's New Years soon but we live in a residential street not a music venue. What I don't understand is how it's permitted to have an outdoor tent setup in the front yard with party-grade speakers. Not even clubs are permitted to play music outside. One thing to note is that this isn't the only home. This should be enforced for all homes in Menlo Park.

    - Please repaint the red and green curb line
    - People are leaving the cars on red and green curb lines for several hours.
    - People park double parking to go to the restaurant and laundry place blocking the street.

This resident blatantly violates the noise ordinance on a regular basis by playing their cultural music loud enough for the entire block to hear This is not the first offense, nor the second, or third. There have been several attempts to notify them of their actions but there seems to be no consequence or effort to rectify the situation A higher standard needs to be set for the people that live in this neighborhood

Another car drove over on the verge between sidewalk and street near by Meta. I reported last week a car that hit the sign on the same spot , and less than one week another car drove at a high speed on this curvy road. Hope the Menlo Park City takes action on Chilco Av high speed !

Hello, we have an issue with a city tree root that is affecting our main water line e From the pictures you can see that the root lifted a section of our driveway, crushed the meter housing, and seems to have caused a leak in the water line, noticeable because the soil around the meter is quite moist l
Getting the leak fixed by a contractor and replacing the water main will cost more than $5,000

    My questions:

What do you recommend to do about the tree/root?
Is this the right kind of tree so close to a water line?
Does the city provide any services here, or does it all fall on the homeowner?

    Thanks,
    Jens Schmidt

I own the property at 4005 Bohannon. Without notification or permission the across-the-street neighbor/PG&E cut a big hole in the ground on my property. This hole is 9" away from a city tree severing a LOT of roots. I am worried that this may severely affect the tree's viability. Did the City give permission to do this? Are there things that should be done to help save this tree? Thanks. Daniel Nitzan, Naztin LLC dan.nitzan@pobox.com
