    There is currently no street light in the cul-de-sac where my elderly parents reside, creating a significant safety concern. At night, visibility is extremely limited, making it difficult for drivers to see pedestrians, children, or animals in the roadway. Recently, a child was nearly struck by a vehicle due to the lack of adequate lighting. Several young children live in this cul-de-sac, and the absence of lighting also raises concerns regarding personal security, fall risks, and overall neighborhood safety. All neighboring residents share these concerns. We respectfully request that the Town evaluate this location and consider the installation of a street light in the interest of public safety.

    We live in Shamrock Estates and our Bulk trash has been out for the past two weeks. It appears all other streets in our neighborhood were collected with the exception of ours. Our home, as well as, the surrounding neighbors still have bulk trash out waiting to be collected.

    Iam writing to bring attention to an ongoing issue with garbage collection in my neighborhood. For several months now, the garbage collectors have been leaving behind trash and debris after pickup. Unfortunately, I’ve had to repeatedly clean up the mess myself, which I do not believe should be the resident’s responsibility.

    While I understand that accidents can happen, this has become a consistent problem, and I feel that there needs to be accountability in place to ensure residents are not left dealing with the aftermath of improper collection. At the very least, there should be a process or policy to address situations when the garbage service creates a mess.

    I kindly ask that this matter be reviewed and addressed. I appreciate the service provided by the city, but I also believe residents deserve clean and reliable waste collection without additional burdens.

    Can you ask the driver to please leave the container closer to the road to avoid deep tire marks in the wet soil. I’ve asked in the past but nothing happened with it. I’d more explanation is needed I can help with that. Thank you for your help in advance

    Question! Is there a reason why the street sweeper is scheduled during and or before the bulk pick up?? It seems beyond stupid to me that we're paying to have the streets cleaned prior to the bulk trash being picked up. Because I'm pretty certain it makes more sense to not waste money having the street sweeper go though neighborhoods where they cannot clean anything due to most homes having bulk trash out in the street. This has happened for the past several years and it's beyond frustrating. The city just upped everyone's water bill to a ridiculous amount it would be nice if you just pretended to not purposely waste our money doing ridiculous things like this. The schedule for bulk pick up is posted, maybe try coordinating with the sweeper guy for once so it actually coincides with the need, which is after bulk pickup is picked up. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
