    The roads in Velvendo were recently resurfaced. Upon completion of the project, they left behind the traffic signs with flags and they have been sitting in the community for several weeks (some of which have blown down). Also the speed hump was painted over the white arrows on one side.

    Greenfield / San Tan pkwy heading North before greenfield there are cones set up for construction that brings traffic from 3 lanes to 1 There is nothing happening there and traffic is a mess with school pick up and the start of rush hour I saw crews working at the corner earlier today but nothing there now Is there anyway to move the cones off to the side until they are needed again?

    Hello -

    Lakeview Dr. is a circle that goes around the Wind Drift community of 624 homes. Eight Wind Drift Neighborhoods enter onto Lakeview as does Cullumber between Lindsay and Lakeview, Granite between Val Vista and Lakeview, and N. Lakeview Dr. between Elliott and the Lakeview circle.

    I'm the president of the Wind Drift HOA and I'd like to report 2 problems -

    1)Speed - especially where students take a shortcut from Lindsay onto Cullumber and from Val Vista onto Granite and around the South part of the Lakeview circle to reach the Elliott entrance to Gilbert High School. There are "Your Speed Is" units placed in different areas of the circle now, but I'm not sure they're capturing the areas with the biggest speed problems.

    2) Lack of crosswalks - we have a sidewalk that goes all around the passenger side of Lakeview Dr. It is very frequently used by homeowners and students, yet there are no pedestrian crosswalk markings at the traffic areas that empty into Lakeview Dr. Can pedestrian crosswalks be added where the sidewalk is intersected by neighborhood entrance/exits?

  • 1300-1348 N Burk St Gilbert, AZ, 85234, USA - Gilbert
    Unbelievable amount of illegal parking in the bike lane on Burk Street north of Houston after school. Total disregard for the safety of bikers as well as anyone else around. This has been an ongoing issue this entire school year at Neely Traditional Academy. Can we please get some signs placed so that the kids can stay safe After school? The school has repeatedly pleaded with people not to park there, put up signs and cones that the illegal parkers removed. Lastly, unfortunately there already has been one incident where someone was hit on their bike in the morning at the intersection as well as countless other close calls.

    Can the Town look into putting up a no U-turn sign for southbound traffic on Higley at Morrison Ranch Parkway? Multiple vehicles are making U-turns rather than following the business access signs for the Bashas center ,which requires them to utilize a three-point turn and hold up traffic heading northbound on Higley, as well as traffic leaving Lakeview Trails North
  • E Riggs Rd & S Val Vista Dr Chandler, AZ, 85249, USA - Chandler

    I’d like to inquire if the traffic light timing on Riggs Road, particularly eastbound, could be monitored.

    Issues at the Riggs Road / Val Vista Intersection:
    Westbound Riggs Road: A significant amount of traffic turns right onto Key Biscayne/Merlot because when you approach the signal at Val Vista/Riggs, the curb at the gas station sticks out and blocks access to the right turn lane for Val Vista. As a result, it's often quicker to cut through the nearby neighborhood, which I assume is not great for the school or neighborhood.

    Eastbound Riggs Road: I’m unsure about the exact timing, but eastbound traffic on Riggs Road takes several light cycles to get through the intersection, especially around 4/4:30 PM. The traffic is often stop-and-go from nearly Lindsay Road to Val Vista. It seems like this could be a quick fix on the timing of the lights.

    Southbound Val Vista: There are two lanes heading south towards Hunt Highway, but very few cars actually travel south. Meanwhile, a large number of vehicles turn left onto Riggs Road, causing unnecessary congestion.

    I am not sure if there is a better place to make these suggestions, so I thought I'd try here first. Thanks!

    Protected left turn from Pecos to Val Vista lasts for only 2 to 3 cars no matter how many cars are in the lanes to turn left Protected left arrow time needs to be extended.

    The school zone flashing yellow lights for both north and southbound traffic on Cal Vista Drive for Weinberg Gifted Academy is still flashing at 1855 hours I contacted someone last week about the lights were functioning on Wednesday the 23rd There was no school for the Chandler Public Schools Can we please correct the issue once and for all?!
