Mercy and Val Vista; left turn signals turning from Mercy (going east and west) only allow 2 - 3 vehicles through I was the 15th car in line before giving up and going straight
  • 778-792 E Elliot Rd Gilbert, Arizona, 85234 - Gilbert
When heading east on Elliot and turning left onto Lindsay, the green arrow only lets 3 cars go before its red and that’s if people are paying attention. There’s so much on coming traffic that no cars can turn left unless you get the arrow. Can you guys make it longer please? At least during morning rush hour? Thank you!

Turn arrow on the light when you are turning left onto val vista from mercy is wayyy to fast! only like 2 cars ever make it through
  • S Recker Rd & E Williams Field Rd Gilbert, Arizona, 85295 - Gilbert
I've observed this for 3 or 4 days now. The left-hand turn signal timing from eastbound Williams Field onto northbound Recker needs to be doubled. Only 3-4 cars get through on the green arrow and although you're probably counting on limited traffic going west on Williams Field it's not working. Not enough cars get cleared out of the left turn lane and the left side lane of eastbound Williams Field stays blocked. You could make westbound Williams Field wait longer and it would not be a problem.
  • S Higley Rd & E Warner Rd Gilbert, AZ, 85296, USA - Gilbert

    Good morning -

I am writing to make a suggestion about the left turn lane from South Higley onto West Warner Road.

In the early mornings during my commute, this light does not have a long enough cycle. From about 530-615am it only lets about two cars lengths before turning yellow/red despite having 5-6 car lengths or more on both new turn lanes.

This has been the case since the transition from the single lane with the flashing left. Under this old traffic control we were always able to clear the intersection in a timely manner with little delay. Now if there are enough cars, it could take up to three light cycles.

I have noticed that this light does have a sufficiently long cycle in the afternoons on my drive home. It's just that early morning portion that needs work.

Appreciate you looking into this. Thanks -

Almost every morning between 7:10-7:25 am (during high school traffic) the light going south on Recker road and turning onto Knights drive doesn't give a left turn signal during at least three of the signal cycles This never used to be an issue until changes were made to the light over the summer The lack of left turn signals is becoming dangerous as students are running red lights to make it to school on time, and the traffic is getting so backed up that it is on the train tracks on recker
  • 3168-3198 S Lindsay Rd Gilbert, Arizona, 85295 - Gilbert
Posting again, the N/S traffic flows forever and then stops so E/W traffic can go The E/W traffic light allows MAYBE 15-18 cars go through and then back to yellow/red
For the love of God, please adjust the light timing
  • 81-97 S Higley Rd Gilbert, Arizona, 85296 - Gilbert
Please don’t take this as I’m complaining about the construction on Higley, but could someone look at the traffic signals speed from green to red or red to green. There is a lot of traffic, congestion and very little time given to get through the lights. I’m all for improving our water and streets just a little adjustment from streets

We need help here!!! Traffic has been stuck for 15 minutes because cars in the intersection due to light timing.

Is there something that can be done to improve the flow of traffic on Val Vista between Germann and Pecos? The number of traffic signals is already unusually high (5 traffic signals within one mile) and its impossible to travel from Germann to Pecos without stopping at least 3 or 4 times. At least two of the stops are unnecessarily long (Melrose and Mercy) where there are almost zero cross-traffic cars and waiting at one of these lights causes cars to miss the next light and have to stop again (there were no pedestrians either). This is a waste of fuel and causes poor air quality.

Can the Melrose and Mercy lights be set so that the system recognizes how many cars are waiting to go through the lights (east/west) and if there are only one or two cars then the light is shorter?

I realize that the lights are probably timed for freeway traffic exiting on Val Vista, but it wasnt much better when I drove southbound from Pecos to Germann 20 minutes later.

left turn onto recker south, need to either increase the time the turn signal is on for or add a sensor to adjust based on flow, waited 2 cycles today due to the amount of cars in the turn lane.
