Turning left green arrow very short. Turning left onto Germann from greenfield
  • S Val Vista Dr Gilbert, Arizona, 85297 - Gilbert

Is there something that can be done to improve the flow of traffic on Val Vista between Germann and Pecos? The number of traffic signals is already unusually high (5 traffic signals within one mile) and its impossible to travel from Germann to Pecos without stopping at least 3 or 4 times. At least two of the stops are unnecessarily long (Melrose and Mercy) where there are almost zero cross-traffic cars and waiting at one of these lights causes cars to miss the next light and have to stop again (there were no pedestrians either). This is a waste of fuel and causes poor air quality.

Can the Melrose and Mercy lights be set so that the system recognizes how many cars are waiting to go through the lights (east/west) and if there are only one or two cars then the light is shorter?

I realize that the lights are probably timed for freeway traffic exiting on Val Vista, but it wasnt much better when I drove southbound from Pecos to Germann 20 minutes later.

Please don’t take this as I’m complaining about the construction on Higley, but could someone look at the traffic signals speed from green to red or red to green. There is a lot of traffic, congestion and very little time given to get through the lights. I’m all for improving our water and streets just a little adjustment from streets
  • S Lindsay Rd & E Queen Creek Rd Chandler, AZ, 85297, USA - Chandler

I would like to make a suggestion about the duration of a left turn arrow at the intersection of Queen Creek and Lindsay.

Every morning Monday - Friday during the morning commute, I have to make a left turn from Queen Creek to north bound Lindsay. It is obvious that there are no sensors controlling the duration of the left arrow at this intersection. The duration of the left turn arrow is far too short. The left turners back up into the left lane of east bound through traffic. Frequently, I won’t say always, but more often than not, it will take 2-3 light cycles before you can get through the line of cars. The reason is the left turn arrow is far too short. On a good run, you get 4 cars through with the 4th car usually turning on the red arrow, essentially running the red light. Usually, there are only two, maybe three cars that can make the turn. Mostly because we have to wait for the intersection to clear from the northbound traffic to clear their left onto Queen Creek.

Can you please increase the duration of that left turn arrow during the morning commute hours. Even three additional seconds would make a drastic impact.

    Thank you for your consideration.

  • 801-839 N Recker Rd Gilbert, Arizona, 85234 - Gilbert
left turn onto recker south, need to either increase the time the turn signal is on for or add a sensor to adjust based on flow, waited 2 cycles today due to the amount of cars in the turn lane.
  • 1562 S Heritage Dr Gilbert, Arizona, 85296 - Gilbert
There’s construction on east bound Germann at Higley. Three lanes to one. The light only allows 3-5 vehicles. It needs to be set longer since only one lane open.
  • Loop 202 Gilbert, Arizona, 85295 - Gilbert
There must be a better way to get on the 202 with the light. The flashing yellow isn’t working for left. Turns from Greenfield 202 traffics up all the way to Pecos routinely and at all hours of the day
  • 8424 S Power Rd Gilbert, AZ, 85297, USA - Gilbert
Please fix WB lights on QC rd. No arrow for SB and the green lasts for about 8-10 seconds. Traffic is backed up over a quarter mile in the morning
  • E Williams Field Rd Gilbert, Arizona, 85295 - Gilbert
The double turn lane heading westbound on Williams Field turning southbound onto San Tan Village Dr turns yellow after 2 cars make it through the intersection when the entire double lane is backed up past where the turn lanes begin. Why is that light so short for such a congested turn lane? Yes, it was a Friday night before Christmas but this is a regular occurrence many other days and times of the day.
  • 3168-3198 S Lindsay Rd Gilbert, Arizona, 85295 - Gilbert
Posting again, the N/S traffic flows forever and then stops so E/W traffic can go The E/W traffic light allows MAYBE 15-18 cars go through and then back to yellow/red
For the love of God, please adjust the light timing
  • 15225 E Riggs Rd Gilbert, AZ 85298, USA - Gilbert
