    Water leak still not resolved.
  • 1865 E Arabian Dr Gilbert, Arizona, 85296 - Gilbert

For the past 30 years I’ve cycled throughout Gilbert, and for the last 3–5 years I’ve noticed a daily flooding issue on Arabian Drive starting around 6:00 AM. One or more homes along Arabian Dr. consistently discharge water onto the street, which then flows downhill to Key Biscayne Dr., pools across several intersections, and continues north for two blocks before finally reaching the storm drain at Key Biscayne and Appaloosa Rd.

The volume of water is significant—large enough each morning to slow traffic through three intersections. I’ve spoken with one resident who seemed unaware of the issue, and although I suggested having a landscaper correct it, the problem remains a year later.

Given the amount of wasted water and the ongoing traffic hazard, I’m requesting that the City investigate the source of the runoff and notify the responsible property owner(s).

    Thanks

There is an irrigation leak somewhere along Baylor Lane. Every morning water drains down and makes a big dirty pool of water at S Heron Ln and E Baylor Ln. It's not drying out with the sun so it's growing everyday and bringing in viscous mosquitoes and other bugs. It's a safety hazard especially with small children living in the immediate area, including my own! This has been an issue for at least a month now.

We noticed a major leak coming from a pipe adjacent to sidewalk and our steps to the house. We were advised to contact the town of Gilbert first for an evaluation of the pipe and why it broke as well as if it is to the sprinkler system as our water pressure has remained stable and it only sent water when the other sprinklers for the neighborhood were going off.

  • 3728 E Sagebrush St Gilbert, Arizona, 85296 - Gilbert
There is a broken sprinkler in the spot circled in the picture. This sprinkler is to the east of my driveway. It does not seem to be leaking while the sprinklers are off but it shoots water up in the air while the sprinklers are on. I am at 3728 E. Sagebrush St. Gilbert, AZ 85296. I first noticed the leak on November 14th at approx. 7:45am. Thank you for your help in this matter.

We had a massage unexplained water usage increase for a couple of months

    Read date:
June -43k (normal for this time of year)
July -61k (NOT normal for time of year)
Aug -80k (extremely higher than normal for time of year)
Sept -43k (normal for this time of year)

The only time our water usage has been this high was when we had a water main break in 2022 and we had that repaired (since that happened, we now check that every week to make sure there are no leaks), and when we over-seeded our large backyard in the winter for our son's weddin and used sprinklers Otherwise we use flood irrigation for our backyard

We had a professional out in July 2025 to do an extensive (and expensive )inspectionof our pool and they found no leaks
Many of my neighbors have also complained about unexplained spikes in usage Could we have someone come out and check?
