    Problem: No Warning signs, or barrier to notify or prevent , Bike , scooter, runner going into water.
    Issue: Safety issue as folks returning from dinner and libations in downtown Gilbert may ride, run or fall into the canal water and drown.

    Why: Poor lighting, no warning signs and no barrier make this a possible hazard.

    Action: Put up warning and directional signs and a barrier similar to the East side of Lindsay trail crossing on Lindsay Rd.
