Please, help us get this area cleaned up. It has been this way over a year and the HOA says the missing manhole covers need to come from Town of Gilbert. It’s the first thing you see when entering the subdivision. Thank you so much!!

I got to pick midge flies out of my daughter’s eye last night after she rode her scooter. Get the basins draining properly. Do better Gilbert.

The recent waterline construction has absolutely destroyed the street. Since the construction started, the skid steers, dump trucks, concrete trucks, excavators, backhoes and heavy construction traffic has destroyed what is left of our street. As a result of the construction, the outside of the trench has cracked and came apart from what was once a decent road. After the patch of just the trench, it is clear that the damage was far more then just the trench itself. Gilbert needs to make this right and fix all the damage caused by this waterline. We all were told that it would be put back to the way it was found and that clearly was not what Gilbert did. This is not just to Melrose, but has also occurred on all of Claxton and is soon coming to Maplewood and Willis. Every neighbor I know of is upset as we now have missing pieces of road and excessive cracks that are hazards to bikes, and will only get worse in the upcoming years. I know this is not a gilbert maintained road, but Gilbert has the responsibility to repair what it has destroyed. No one is expecting Gilbert to Maintain this, but we are all looking for it to be corrected. I am not sure this is the right place to start, but it won't be the last place this is brought to by me or many others who fell as if we got our road destroyed.

There is currently no street light in the cul-de-sac where my elderly parents reside, creating a significant safety concern. At night, visibility is extremely limited, making it difficult for drivers to see pedestrians, children, or animals in the roadway. Recently, a child was nearly struck by a vehicle due to the lack of adequate lighting. Several young children live in this cul-de-sac, and the absence of lighting also raises concerns regarding personal security, fall risks, and overall neighborhood safety. All neighboring residents share these concerns. We respectfully request that the Town evaluate this location and consider the installation of a street light in the interest of public safety.

the city added this chainlink fence and creates an unmaintainable illegal alley. the trees growing in this space are destroying our property. initial notice in 311 was may 2025 and was ignored

Property owner is parking vehicles on the front yard of the property.

We live in Shamrock Estates and our Bulk trash has been out for the past two weeks. It appears all other streets in our neighborhood were collected with the exception of ours. Our home, as well as, the surrounding neighbors still have bulk trash out waiting to be collected.
