caller reports that speed radar sign is off by 5mph. On Greenfield near the junior high

The crosswalk button on the NW side of the Higley and Seville intersection is not working. In addition, this intersection remains very dangerous for pedestrians crossing Higley. Vehicles fail to give pedestrians the right of way or recognize the crosswalk light. This is a significant concern for students crossing Higley to attend Riggs Elementary or any other pedestrian crossing Higley. While failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk is a violation, it is happening consistently. More substantial efforts need to occur for the safety of the neighborhood. Perhaps if we look at this area proactively, a solution could be for the crosswalk light to signal pedestrians only while all vehicles have a red light. Or more signage to remind vehicles to stay alert and cautious when yielding to pedestrians. I fear if action isn’t taken, there will be dangerous consequences. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Walk button to cross pecos on the north east corner of Allen and Pecos has no power, totally dead

Could we add a "Dead End" sign for our street? Daily, we have multiple cars trying to exit community from our street, not realizing it's a cul-de-sac. Concerned about safety of young kids often out playing in street. Thx! 🙏🏼d

There is road work being accomplished on Pecos East of Greenfield that has several code violations as it relates to signage. The speed limit decreases from 45 to 25 which is greater than 10MPH reduction which according to ADOT TTC design guidelines must be approved by District Engineers or Regional Traffic Engineers so I would like to see a copy of that approval. There is no notification of a Reduce Speed Ahead when entering off Greenfield onto Pecos. It also states that the transition to the lower speed limit should be made in steps of not more than 10MPH. In addition to those code infractions the size of and the height of the TTC SPEED LIMIT signs are not per the MUTCD nor the AZDOT TTC. (see attached pic) The TTC SPEED LIMIT sign should be 36"X48" per the graphic on page 3 and the height per the MUTCD needs to be a minimum of 5feet above the ground measured from the bottom of the sign. I would like to have copies of the traffic operations analysis, written justification for the 20MPH drop in speed and all related documentation for reducing the speed through the TTC zone emailed to me.

Extended north-bound Lindsay Road lane closure (south of Baseline) has been causing unacceptable traffic back-ups for the past few months This may be convenient for the developer, but it is putting a real burden on Gilbert residents It also presents a safety issue as cars use the left turn lane to get around the traffic jam The Town and developer need to find a compromise that doesn't keep lanes of traffic closed indefinitely and risk the safety of Gilbert residents
