    This is North on ValVista turning west onto Pecos. The left turn timing needs to be twice as long to account for the Val Vista ramp closure on the 202.

    A request was submitted a couple of weeks ago related to potential controlled trail crossing on Recker between Guadalupe and Elliot, but has since been archived. It would be appreciated if that study would also include providing restrictions to vehicles using the public utility easement as a cross cut from Recker to Power Rd and Highland High and from Recker to the next block west. This easement, while necessary, allows all types vehicles to travel, unrestricted, blending both pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles. It also creates additional noise, dust and potential safety concerns near the residents who live on the border of this access. Thank you.

    Crosswalk light at Recker Rd., just south of the Santan 202 Freeway, needs to be upgraded to those similar at Elliot Rd. and the Eastern Canal/Santan Vista Trail. Current lights at Recker and the 202 are difficult to see at dusk and dawn, so people just zip past them, and almost hit pedestrians and bike riders.

    Fiber cable piping has been pushed from the west to the east of Cayman Square. Dr. and has caused bulges on the roadway, the most significant one being on the intersection of Juniper Ave and Cayman Sq. Dr. This in the future could further deteriorate the pavement.

    I’m reaching out on behalf of concerned residents in the Stratland Estates neighborhood in Gilbert, Arizona. A 5G tower is currently being constructed on the corner of our community park—less than 50 feet from nearby homes. This installation is happening with no meaningful input from residents and in apparent violation of the Town of Gilbert’s own ordinances regarding wireless infrastructure placement.
    When questioned, the Town of Gilbert has claimed that state legislation ties their hands, effectively absolving them of responsibility and allowing telecom companies to proceed unchecked. However, local ordinances appear to directly contradict this project, particularly regarding setbacks from residences and community spaces. Despite this, the city has not intervened.
    This tower not only disrupts the character of our neighborhood and park, but it also raises concerns about health risks, decreased property values, and a lack of due process. The community was never properly notified or given a chance to voice opposition before construction began. It feels as though state interests and corporate convenience have been prioritized over the well-being of the families who live here.
    We are asking for your help to investigate how this tower was approved, whether proper legal and procedural steps were followed, and why local ordinances are being disregarded. t
