  • 3400 Azalea Pl Largo, Florida, 33771 - US Congressional District FL10
The Ditch has been obstructed for over a week. It has a history of becoming obstructed after heavy rain which floods the streets. Whenever the contracted company mows that area they leave the clippings in the ditch. Now the ditch won't even drain after light rain fall AND we are having a mosquito infestation which we never had before. We rarely seen mosquitoes now, they are everywhere outside and biting all members of my household after being outside for a few minutes during the day time. I have made a complaint last year fall when the streets flooded due to this ditch and the homes a few streets down behind me after the hurricane and nothing was done. Now this ditch won't drain and there are mosquitoes EVERYWHERE. Please come out and drain it or clean it out of all the leftover debris that has been building up for over 1 year!

There is overgrown vegetation, tree branches and people’s trash obstructing the water flow. This is causing mosquito and no-see-em issues. Pinellas county surveyed the land and said they sent notices to residence to remove item blocking the easement so they could manage the problem, but nothing has been done. It’s been years since this has been maintained. Please consider filling in easement or scheduling regular maintenance like other areas receives .

It is also going to be an issue for the mosquitoes. I've been patient because of the hurricanes, but this is affecting my lawn now. Please help and maybe find a permanent solution to this.
  • 9022 Cypress Trl Seminole, Florida, 33777 - US Congressional District FL10
The canal behind my home (South Side) has a large tree limb in it. Also, the right of way maintained by the county has several large piles of tree debris, and a large tree branch that hangs over the right of way has broken and is partially obstructing the right of way. The tree branch debris has attracted the dumping of additional debris by some who do not live in this neighborhood.

This area needs to be dug out so storm water can flow properly instead of flooding when it rains. In the picture, a 24 inch drain is holding water 6 inches from the top.
