  • The storm water retention ponds in our area are holding significantly more water than ever. They are meant to drain slowly over time, however we are concerned they the county drainage field behind our neighborhood is not draining at all. While we have had significant rain, we would like to confirm that the county drainage area flowing appropriately according to the stormwater management plan.

  • 1415 Ironworks Ln Tarpon Springs, Florida, 34689 - Tarpon Springs
Recently, the County pulled out all the vegetation and trees (almost all the trees) behind my home. There is a drainage ditch behind my home along W Curlew Pl. The vegetation up against my fence was all taken out. I now have no privacy in my backyard. My dogs see everything and everyone now. As soon as they go outside, they bark. They see everything from the house as well and they bark. I now have to purchase blinds for my porch and will eventually need to purchase a privacy fence (that I can’t afford) all due to this project that by the way isn’t even listed on the website. I understand the need for drainage and the water to flow but I don’t understand why everything up to my fence had to be ripped out. Please explain why the vegetation along my fence had to be. I have been in this home for 12 years and the vegetation has always been along my fence which provided privacy. I request that someone come take a look at the area and there needs to be a remedy to this issue.

Located at corner of Royal Blvd and Queen Ann Blvd.
Logs have floated down during last substantial rain and somewhat made a dam across the culvert pipe that goes under Queen Anne Blvd. The area has been marked by the county a year or so ago as it appears unstable and washing out at the sidewalks.

  • 12350 102nd Ave Seminole, FL, 33778, USA - Seminole
At 12350 102nd Ave is a pool of water from west of Hazel Street. The water is not draining into the north side ditches. It is going down my driveway and pooling in front of the garage and then going into the garage and flooding it. I have called before reporting this issue and no one has gotten back with me.
