644 Silver Avenue San Francisco, CAThere is no stop sign on Silver Avenue between Congdon and Cambridge. Traffic between the two stops reaches 40 mph in a 20 mph zone. Request stop sign at Silver and Gambier since there is already a bus stop there. Will be safer for bus passengers entering and exiting the bus. Will also help drivers who are trying to turn onto Silver from Gambier that can't see due to parked cars.· Reported by Anonymous · Flag Flagged
Silver Ave And Congdon St. San Francisco, CA
The stop sign at this intersection is not adequate. A traffic light is necessary, for the following reasons:
1. During the morning and evening commute times, westbound traffic on Silver Ave. regularly backs-up past Madison. This causes problems for drivers trying to get on westbound Silver Ave. from Naples, Vienna and Madison Streets... and occasionally Gambier St.; these cars end up blocking eastbound traffic while trying to get in the line.
2. Traffic on Silver Ave. (both directions) has difficulty seeing cars at the stop sign on Congdon St. (southbound), due to the sharp crest.
1 Gambier St San Francisco, CA 94134, USAIntersection is blind for anyone exiting Gambier. Traffic on Silver is moving 40-45 mph in a 25 mph zone. Serious accidents are common. Intersection needs stop sign. Street parking needs to be pushed back from intersection on Silver, both sides of Gambier. A radar speed signs need to be installed on Silver until speeds are reduced. 25 mph speed limit needs to be enforced.· Reported by W. Lynam · Flag Flagged
