Hemingway Street New Haven, Connecticut
There is a new pothole in the middle of Hemingway St near First Street as well as a missing pipe cap. Hemingway St really needs to be re-paved from the top at Quinnipiac down to Russell St, at the least. The area under the train trestle is very bad that you have to crawl over it. I've lived here over 10 years and all we've had is patch after patch, the side of the road is crumbled and is always producing asphalt rocks due to rain runoff and snowplows eating away our dirt and grass embankment that helps absorb some of the rain water. The same goes for the area under the train trestle on Quinnipiac close to Foxon Blvd which also floods and eats out the already damaged and rough pavement. While I recognize the city has many places that need paving, this just gets worse and worse and then wastes time patching and patching, plus it damages cars. Thank you for your consideration.
