new tenant across from me is stumbling around outside all hours of the night, wandering onto other's property while on whatever HEAVY drugs he's on. Screaming and carrying on on a daily basis. People in this neighborhood are living in owner occupied buildings with children, going to work every day, trying to make a living and keep their family above water and getting awoken at 1am-2am due to a grown man screaming and crying that someone did all of his drugs.
The owner is a slumlord and owns almost 40 properties, how in god's name is he supposed to control his tenant's behavior?
We call the police about the noise, and you don't come, last time we called the police it took an hour for them to get here.
I know we "live in the ghetto" and the police want to concentrate crime here as a means of keeping it out of the "land above locust street" so they don't care when you call but it's becoming ridiculous that nobody can actually do anything about the crime of public intoxication in this neighborhood.
NEVERMIND THE HOOKERS ON ROBESON, 5TH, AND JOHN who blatantly walk around and sit on corners all night. like cops don't even exist.
The FRPD needs to open a substation here, that's the only solution. This is a high drug crime area and we need cops right here 24/7.
