310 Hay Street Fayetteville, North Carolina
As if the rats and maggots living in the open trash cans were not enough... Now Blue Moon Cafe has chosen to dispose of a commercial freezer on the sidewalk... So according to the first sentence in the Fayetteville.gov on guidelines as to how to dispose of White Goods.... THE DOOR WILL BE REMOVED. It is not removed and is tied with a piece of long bag plastic. According to Fayetteville .gov regs...it should also NOT be near cars, power lines..etc. it's leaning forward on an old uneven brick street in front of car spaces and is backed up against the buildings electrical meter. Filthy water is running in front of the entrance to other businesses. People are fed up with Blue Moons inability to follow even basic sanitary guidelines and then turns around and blames other businesses for their violations. This is going to get ugly if the city continues to play time line games with inspecting BM's violations by waiting until the day after their trash pick up and thereby ignoring the city's own rules. It might be a popular resteraunt but it won't be so popular when the freezer falls over on some person trying to walk passed the obstructed sidewalk. Good Luck, tomorrow is Fourth Friday. How many hundreds of people will be down there? City of Fayetteville - Get This Under Control!
