Requests: noise complaint
Thanks! Thanked!Buchanan Way Huntsville, AL, 35811, USA
We were told by HPD to make contact with the Alabama A&M Department of Pubic Safety to voice concerns about the noise. THAT DOES NOTHING. Isn't Alabama A&M within the city limits of Huntsville and if so why can't the noise ordinance be enforced?
Monday and Tuesday are both school days, having so much noise that kids can't get to sleep until after midnight is unacceptable.
81 Hillcrest Ave Nw Huntsville, AL, 35806, USAThe construction crew is blaring music during the day, to the point of where the music is heard and vibrating the windows in houses across the street.
805 Regal Dr Sw Huntsville 35801, United StatesCommercial dumpsters are being dumped between 3:45am-5:00am on Thursday’s. The noise level is so loud it is heard throughout the surrounding neighborhoods and inside homes. The dumpsters are located either at Parkway Place Mall or the new shopping complexes on Bob Wallace. These dumpsters should not be dumped this early if they are waking the neighborhood up.
128 Darlingtonthere are large cracks in the street that seem to have the noise of running water coming from them under the surface of the street. Definitely think something is off and needs attention.

1) On Sunday night (29 Oct) Alabama A&M sets off fireworks between 10:30 pm and 11 pm.
2) On last night (30 Oct) Bull horns, music, partying, etc. were ongoing at A&M until midnight; I could get no sleep (I live on Winchester). I called the police who directed me to campus security. Campus security told me, "be advised this is homecoming weekend". I call the police back at about 11 pm and dispatch said they would send an officer. Unfortunately, the noise did not stop until midnight.
3) Alabama A&M often has ongoing band practice; especially the drums after 10 pm. Why is Alabama A&M NOT required to comply with the city noise ordinance? How do I get this issue addressed? Should I start a petition with my neighbors? I willing to assist in getting this addressed in any way possible.
183-409 Winchester Rd Ne Huntsville, AL, 35811, USAThere has been loud noise September 29th and 30th after 10 pm coming from the direction of Alabama A&M University.
On September 29th there were fireworks at midnight. On September 30th there was loud music and loud voices. The noise carries quite a distance.
Every year it's either the band playing after 10pm or other loud noise. Please remind the students that the city has a noise ordinance. People have work the next day & young children that need to be asleep.
The students should be using that time to study or rest for the next day themselves.

700 Dorothy Ford Ln Sw Huntsville, AL, 35801, USAConstruction noise on new Redstone FCU building has started up at 4:30am this morning. Directly next to multiple buildings full of residents trying to sleep.
3215 Clopton St Sw Huntsville 35805 United StatesThree dogs that bark all night every night - there has to be something in a noise ordinance that protects enjoyment of your home or just the ability to sleep. I’ve called the cops, filed a report with Animal Control, contacted his landlord. Tried to reach the owner without success during the day. Haven’t slept more than 3 hours at a time in maybe 8-10 days. It’s about 30-40 decibels even inside our house. I can’t take it any longer.
Brookmeade St Nw & Oster Dr Nw Huntsville, AL, 35816, USAAs previously reported, there’s loud music 1-3/week in this area. Please inspect.
