Q. What is your trash collection inquiry or issue?
A. Question: Why were the 2 brush piles not picked up? Because of the lack of information on the town site, in 2018, I called Highway/Sanitation Division number listed on Natickma.gov and spoke to someone (did not record the name) who told me that the town would pick up paper bags, material in reusable trashcans and brush. Since that time, my curbside collection has been that way. On May 7th, I set out reusable trashcans and two brush piles similar as picture here and ALL was picked up. On May 14th, I did the same, picture was taken immediately after the town truck drove off. The workers emptied the trash cans and left the piles as shown. I could see them driving away and the truck was not full so it is clear it was a conscious choice not to pick up the piles. So that leaves me wondering why the 2 brush piles were not picked up. Request: Please provide very specific details on Curbside collection of yard waste. The official page at https://www.natickma.gov/302/Yard-Waste does NOT list any details about the type of yard waste to be picked up nor does it say how to arrange/package it so that it will be picked up.
