Description

Several days a week, always on Tuesdays, early morning till mid-afternoon, year round, several city 'trash and recycle trucks' gather here and idle anywhere from 20-90 minutes. Complaints to the Dept. of Streets have proven useless.

They do the same thing at 1400 Bigler. I'm assuming its a meeting point and they depart for different blocks from there.

As of today, 6/8/11, the problem still continues. Yesterday, Tuesday the 7th., I was headed out and counted seven trash/recycle trucks parked (and idling) on the 2600 block of 19th. Street. If I were not pressed for time, I would have taken pictures. I will however make it a point to take pictures in the near future. This is just plain crazy...our tax dollars be wasted, while the city is laying off teachers.
