The No Dumping sign here has been broken. A neighbor pointed out to me that even though there are No Dumping signs, there is a lot of trash on the ground. I work for Sustainable Sandhills, and I've found that some research suggests that putting a pair of eyes on these types of signs can deter people from littering, because they feel like they're being watched. Including the fine amounts for littering on the sign may also help.
