Description
I walk from centennial field to uvmmc everyday and at least twice a week I see drivers blow through the stop sign - is there a way to make this intersection safer for pedestrians and hospital workers who park here? Maybe add blinking lights to the stop sign? Or cut the branches down that block the sign? Someone is going to get hurt... I’ve almost been hit a couple of times.

As some drivers do not obey traffic regulations and drive in a hazardous manner, this issue may best be handled by the Burlington Police Department (BPD); as it is their task to manage enforcement issues. I would suggest that if you feel unsafe at any time please call the BPD at (802)658-2700. Feel free to call me directly should you have any questions or concerns. The Department of Public Works has resolved this request. Thanks for helping to keep Burlington a great place to live and work.
