Thank you for notifying the Town of Bluffton about this issue. The Town’s Storm Water Inspector has investigated this concern and found that inlet protection, utilized for the prevention of sediment discharges into the storm water system, was blocking flow into the inlets causing the roadway to flood. The contractor, Lamar Smith, has been contacted about this issue and the necessity for proper installation of inlet protection to prevent this from happening again.
