Description

Weeds along Fort Ward Hill leading to South Beach are so high that pedestrians are forced to walk in the roadway which causes vehicles to leave their lane on roadway with three blind curves or risk striking a pedestrian. This is a chronic problem and reported to Public works on an annual basis. Please rectify as soon as possible including the vegetation around the guard rail along the narrowest portion of walkable right of way. Photo from May 21st...the weeds are now waist high!

also asked...
Q. Where is the location of the vegetation problem?
A. Fort Ward Hill leading to South Beach
Q. Please describe the problem.
A. Vegetation blocking the pathway down a dangerous hill. In the past, a phone call used to result in immediate mowing. This is not a nicety and perhaps at some point a liablity. Please resolve quickly.
