Just wanted to back up the original commenter -- I work at Old Spokes and agree that the 1-2 parking spaces on North Winooski directly to the north of the entrance/exit of our parking lot are definitely an issue when it comes to exiting the parking lot safely. Cars parked in those spaces can make it very difficult to see southbound traffic. The large pothole surrounding the drain in the same zone (which I've reported twice via SCF) doesn't make it easier either. . .

According to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) “The junction of a driveway with a roadway shall not constitute an intersection, unless the roadway or highway at said junction is controlled by a traffic control device.” This location is a driveway and not an intersection. A driveway does not require the same sight distance as an intersection. Consequently, Staff would not recommend removing parking adjacent to this driveway at this time.
