Please be advised, a California law was changed in 2019 and created an additional rule for police to remove vehicles, Assembly Bill 2876. This Bill does not allow for the towing/removal of vehicles off public city streets without a Community Care Taking need present. Parking Enforcement responded on 6/17/21 and marked/cited the listed vehicle. A Traffic Officer responded on 7/13/21 to follow-up and advised the owner to remove the vehicle from the parking lot. On 7/20/21, Parking Enforcement responded again to check on the vehicle and it was no longer parked in the parking lot. We appreciate your assistance in keeping our streets and city safe.
