When the light is red at the intersection of Shongum Rd and W. Hanover Ave., motorists routinely block egress from Black Birch onto EB W. Hanover Ave. Blocking an intersection is a illegal, yet it is not enforced by Morris Twp., Denville or Randolph. This creates a dangerous situation for drivers who routinely take this route. Mark the road surface and post signage to not block the box or add signage to include "Stop Here on RED" west of the intersection.

The definition of intersection is the point or line where a line crosses another. Although it does not have a traffic light, Black Birch Road and W. Hanover Avenue is an intersection, just west of the traffic light at Shongum Road and W. Hanover Avenue.
And the drivers who block it EB when the adjoining light is red are equally unaware of these facts.
